Warming to the heart. Hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream


This is just what you need on a cold night.


The smell of this is just so mouthwatering and it's a real treat for those chocolate lovers out there! The kids will love it too!


This recipe make four mugs of hot chocolate.




Ingredients

  • 600ml milk

  • 100g chopped milk chocolate

  • Marshmallows

  • 130ml double cream for the hot chocolate

  • 150ml of double cream whipped for the topping



Method

  1. Whip the 150ml of double cream until light and fluffy

  2. Pour the milk, 130ml of double cream and chopped chocolate into a pan. Bring gently to the boil, whisking until smooth.

  3. Serve in individual mugs, top with the cream and sprinkle over the marshmallows. Finish with a little grated chocolate.
