Millstones were typically water or animal driven, and used for
crushing grain into flour, or other produce into animal feed. Those in our
selection measure between 1ft and 4ft diameter, and 2in to 15in depth. The
sides are either straight (sheer) or indented with a narrow channel spiraling
down the outside edge. |
